This is a super original example that was sat in a sorry state for over 20 years when the previous owner decided to do a full body off restoration with his Dad in tow. This was a labour of love for the guys involving over 500 hours of labour. On top of that they spent over £9, 000 on the restoration project, now presenting it in superb condition with 100’s of items renewed or repaired.
Here are just some of new items
- Front 1/ 4 chassis, rear 1/ 4 chassis, crossmember and all outriggers replaced.
- New bulkhead footwells and door pillars replaced along with bulkhead vent repair panels.
- New fuel tank, suspension dampers and leaf springs.
- New brake drums, brake shoes, brake pipes bearings, gaskets and oil seals.
- Both front swivel housings and balls along with a new steering relay unit, front half shaft UJ, oil seals and track rod ends.
- Oils seals and gasket kits fitted to gearbox and transfer unit.
- New radiator, all hoses and exhaust pipe.
- New battery, head gasket, valves, valve guides.
- Complete wiring harness.
- New windscreen glass and wipers.
- All new front seats and seat belts.
- All lights renewed including head lights.
- Three new doors, front wings side and front panels.
- Five new wheels, tyres, steering wheel and front bumper.
