1951 LAND ROVER SERIES 1 80 FOR SALE – SOLD

For sale through AB4x4s Cleveland is this quite lovely Series 1 80″ soft top that are becoming more and more sought after.

We are selling this on behalf of a customer who bought it through our garage around 3 years ago. At this time we were asked to do any works required for it to be road worthy and safe. Many thousands were spent at this time to bring it back to life with a large file of receipts to prove.
From what I recall this Series 1 was used at a safari park for some years prior to my customer purchasing it. It had received a restoration in the past with pictures to view in the receipt folder.

Powered by a later and more reliable 2.25 petrol engine she starts on the button and goes through the gears nicely.
Brakes stop the vehicle well as to be expected as i think we went through these 3 years ago.

Bodywork has a nice patina to it, just what i like! I believe the hood was very recent from Exmoor trim. Nice old galvanised cappings and hinges are in keeping with this period feel.

Inside are 2 front seats and to the rear 2 bench squabs to sit on. We can add full bench seats plus seat belts at your request.

This 69 year old vehicle has had a mere 7 previous keepers from new. It will only go up in value whilst costing very little to keep being tax and mot exempt.
