1973 LAND ROVER SERIES 3, GALVANISED CHASSIS RESTORATION FOR SALE -SOLD

For sale through AB 4x4s Cleveland is this soon to be completed 1973 Land Rover Series 3 rebuilt on a galvanised chassis.

We recently did one of these in Pastel green as a soft top which is the one in the pictures. We were unsurprisingly inundated by people wanting an identical vehicle. So, we have started the restoration process on this one to be completed around Christmas.

The benefit of this one is the spec in which it has arrived. It has a galvanised chassis which is essential for one of these as we very well know. It also has a reconditioned gearbox, also something that can be an issue. It sports the correct 5 main bearing engine that runs without fault. Detailing, new parts and a full service will also make it look the part.

It has a stainless streel exhaust, 4 new tyres and new leaf springs, shocks and bushes.

We add brand new doors all round with re- galvanised cappings and windscreen. Seat box comes out for new sides, professionally resprayed then re-installed with stainless steel nuts and bolts.

So literally we add so many new parts that it ends up looking like it’s just rolled out of the factory.

At this moment in time you can choose between a hard top or a soft top. Most people opt for the popular Pastel green with sand soft top configuration. We add 3 new front seats and new belts. We can also add rear seats and belts at extra cost.
